Equipping the Saints Discussion

From attending church to becoming equipped for the work of ministry

What would it look like for Turtle Mountain Worship Center to become a church where every believer is growing, serving, discipling others, and using the gifts God has given them?

Ephesians 4 presents a simple pattern: church leaders equip God's people for the work of ministry, and as each part does its work, the whole body grows and is built up. That same principle is at the heart of the proposed TMWC Ministry Roadmap: “Equipping the people to do the work.”

The Equipping the Saints Discussion is an informal gathering to talk, pray, listen, and discover where God may already be leading people at TMWC. This isn't about launching a collection of new programs. It is about discovering the people, gifts, interests, needs, and opportunities God has already placed among us—and asking how we can equip one another to put them to work.

Start Small. Equip People. Build Capacity. Multiply Impact.

The vision is intentionally bigger than a single Bible study or ministry. We can start small, learn what works, equip faithful people, and allow ministries to grow as God provides people and opportunities. The roadmap describes that progression as beginning with simple relationships and activities and gradually developing equipped workers who can train others.

Come prepared to discuss questions such as: What has God equipped you to do? What would you like to learn? Where do you see needs in the church or community? What could you help someone else learn? What ministry idea has God put on your heart?

The goal isn't simply more activity. It is faithful disciples who understand and apply Scripture, capable servants who can teach, counsel, organize, host, lead and train others, stronger families, and ministries that can mature and endure.

You don't need to come with a ministry plan. Come with your questions, experiences, interests, gifts, and willingness to grow.
